Bluebird:
This piece was painted with dirt discovered down in an old mine. It has the bluish/turquoise hue because it is technically calcium fluoride. It was found up in the Little Belts in the Carpenter Creek area of Kings Hill. The darker color dirt adding the details in the eyes, beak and wings is from the Big Snowy Mountains near the Crystal Lake area.
