Castle Town Grit: This piece was painted with the crumbled bits of an old brick found at Castle Town, a ghost town in the Castle Mountains of Central Montana. A once bustling mining town presumably full of excitement, drama and history in the making. The brown tones giving shadow and adding depth to the petals was also gathered from the "streets" of the same ghost town. The green tones were gathered from near Sapphire Village located in The Little Belt Mountains, also in Central Montana. This piece is 5X7.
