Cruisin' the Gap
Cruisin' the Gap
from $35.00
Cruisin’ the Gap: On my way home one afternoon, I stopped for gas in Judith Gap, Montana and caught a perfect slice of a quiet Montana Sunday. A local was cruisin’ the Gap with his dog riding shotgun – one of those simple moments that just felt worth capturing.
This piece was created using turquoise, silver and cobalt metals along with crushed red brick gathered from the streets of Castle Town, giving the truck its weathered, rusted patina. The painting also incorporates natural elements from the area including brown dirt from Castle Town, black ash from the Kings Hill area, and warm tan, red, and yellow tones collected north of Martinsdale in the Little Belt Mountains.
