Dive Bars & Guitars: This piece was painted with a variety of colors of dirt and metals. The yellow and tan tones come from North of Martinsdale in the Little Belt Mountains. The brown and black tones come from the ghost town of Castle Town in the Castle Mountains. The redish/orange color as well as the “pink” skin tones are made from an old brick also found along the streets of Castle Town. The grey tones are painted with crushed silver and the blue tones creating the “noise” coming off the strings is created from crushed cobalt and crushed turquoise.
