Dusty Climb: This piece is painted with crushed flower petals, stems and some ash. The pink tones came from some red tulips. I crushed up the stems of roses to make the green color. I layered heavily the red tulip “paint” and used some forest fire ash to get the vivd colors for the ladybug.
