Dusty Doe:
This piece was painted with a combination of Montana dirt. The darker color was gathered from near the Sluice Boxes State Park and Tiger Butte in the Little Belt Mountains near Monarch, MT. The pinkish/red color was gathered from 16 Mile Canyon, near Ringling, MT where the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad used to run through and the lighter tan color that makes up most of the painting was gathered from near Mud Creek North of Martinsdale, MT.
