Ember Eyes: This piece was painted with golden/yellow dirt that was gathered from north of Martinsdale in a spot where large chunks of earth break and fall exposing many layers with varieties and colors of soil including this vivid yellow clay. The owls details and background are painted with black ash gathered from a forest fire in the Kings Hill Area also of the Little Belt Mountains.
