Muddy Forest:
This piece was painted with dirt gathered in the Little Belt Mountains of Montana in Sawmill Canyon. And yes this dirt really is green! I also added dirt gathered from beneath a shade tree on our sheep pasture in the Little Belt Mountains North of Martinsdale close to Mud Creek.
