Peony Puddles in Purple: This piece was painted with dark red peony petals havested from the banks of Belt Creek near Armington, MT. Once the petals are steeped, they create the rich purple colors on the canvas. The green dirt used to create the leaves and stems was found in the Sawmill Canyon area in the Little Belt Mountains. A soft blend of bloom and earth - where flowers and foothills meet.
