Remembrance Red: This piece was painted with red dirt found north of Martinsdale in the Little Belt Mountains in a spot that my family dubbed the “Enchanted Forest”. A spooky, mystical and magical place that “saw” many animals and travelers throughout the years. The black is ash from a forest fire in the Kings Hill area of The Little Belt Mountains.
