Scents and Sounds of Summer: This piece was painted with crushed flower petals from a sunflower and peony that were grown along Belt Creek in Central Montana. I also used crushed leaves and steams for the green tones. The black ash used to create more definition and depth was gathered from a forest fire in the Kings Hill area.
